Tall Oil Products

Tall oil products are natural raw materials for many industrial processes which serve us in a variety of ways.  They are used, for example, in paints and coatings, coating additives, surfactants, metalworking, oilfield chemicals, oil and fuel additives, pulp and paper chemicals, printing inks, adhesives or bio fuels. The main product groups distilled from the crude tall oil are tall oil fatty acid (TOFA), distilled tall oil (DTO), tall oil rosin (TOR) and tall oil pitch.

Tall oil and its distillation process are environmentally friendly, since crude tall oil (CTO) and tall oil products are based on pine tree, a renewable natural resource. Tall oil is a by-product of the chemical pulp industry.
