Forchem’s corporate social responsibility awarded with EcoVadis Gold medal
Forchem’s long-term investments in sustainability have been recognized by EcoVadis, world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. Sustainability is at the core of Forchem’s business ideology and strategy: We use sustainably sourced crude tall oil, which is produced as a side stream of pulping process. EcoVadis’ sustainability scorecards provide detailed insight into environmental, social and ethical risks across 198 purchasing categories and 155 countries.
Being awarded with EcoVadis Gold medal, Forchem is in the top 3% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the Manufacture of other chemical products, which is an outstanding achievement. EcoVadis assessments focus on 21 recognized CSI criteria which are grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Our best scores were gained in Environment and Labor & Human Rights areas, both being on advanced level and remarkably above average industry level.

“Forchem prides itself for being in the forefront of sustainable circular economy. Our raw material is renewable, and we put great emphasis on environmental and sustainability issues. We wanted our operations to be objectively audited by a reputable partner since it’s important that our commitments are recognised.
